Therapy for Seniors
AT A SISTERS LEGACY, OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE STABILITY THROUGH INNOVATIVE THERAPUTIC INTERVENTIONS, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND COMMUNITY RESOURCE CONNECTION. A SISTERS LEGACY IS A NON-PROFIT LOCATED IN DALLAS, TEXAS AND SPECIALIZES IN CARING FOR CAREGIVERS, WORKING WITH SENIORS, ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES, AND SOCIAL WORKERS. SERVICES CAN BE PROVIDED IN THE COMFORT OF THE HOME OR IN THE OFFICE SETTING.
Funky Town Fridge
Free food for the community
Funky town fridge is a community fridge project that aims to combat hunger, empower our communities, reduce food waste, and educate the city of fort worth. we place refrigerators and pantries in public spaces accessible to the community 24 hours a day and stock them with nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste. in the spirit of mutual aid, all members of the community are invited to contribute food to the fridges and take what they need.

OUR PURPOSE

We should not accept a world where women
don’t feel safe in their own homes.
We have seen how domestic violence affects lives and families. We have witnessed firsthand the damage it can cause. But more importantly, we know there is a way out and we can help women find a way to safety.
Oak Cliff Veggie Project
Donation-based Produce Distribution
1. Educate: We teach agriculture and plant based lifestyles to improve overall health.
2. Cultivate: We cultivate fresh produce and a community of growers.
3. Prepare: We prepare food for over 1,200 families per month and we provide space for the community to connect.
We accept produce donations and recover delicious food gems that put food on people’s tables.
The Lullaby House

We are The Lullaby House, your full-service resource for all things baby. As a non-profit organization, it’s our aim to strengthen families, provide education and physical resources, and safe housing for at-risk and homeless teen moms and their children under 3 years old.
Harvest Project food rescue
Fighting food insecurity
The Harvest Project Food Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit that was started to fight food insecurity and food waste in the city of Dallas. We are supported and run by our volunteers. With the help of our community partners, we are able to distribute free fresh produce baskets to hundreds of families a week.
Austin Street Center
Helping out our Houseless neighbors
Every day, thousands of men and women in Dallas find themselves without a home and with nowhere to turn.
At Austin Street Center, clients are not only provided emergency housing, but much needed hope for a plan and a path forward. Serving as one of Dallas’ largest homeless shelters for more than three decades, Austin Street Center and its team of dedicated servant leaders transforms lives with innovative programs and individualized plans that #HelpThemHome through permanent housing solutions.

Grassroot community organization
Not My Son is a Black women led grassroots non-profit organization. Our efforts are centered around our three pillars: Community Outreach, Social Activism, and Civic Engagement to bring communities together. Our mission reforming city and national policies that perpetuate systems of oppression and uplifting marginalized Dallas communities. We strive to achieve change for our own city while engaging directly with the community at every level.
